Report reaching globalhotlinenews has it that chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state, Paul Omotosho has passed on .
The Imesi-Ekiti born politician and lawyer died in the early hours of Wednesday after a brief illness.
Omotosho who was said to have participated in series of political meeting early in the week was said to have complained on Tuesday which made him to be rushed to a government hospital in the state capital where he later died.
Recall that the late APC chairman was kidnapped on July 8, 2023 by gunmen but later released on July 13, 2023 after five days in the den of his Abductors.
Late Paul Omotosho emerged as the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state on October 16, 2021 at the APC State congress.
Omotosho emerged through a consensus at the congress which took place at the mini pavilion, around Fajuyi roundabout, Ado-Ekiti.
Prior to the congress, late Omotoso was the APC caretaker committee chairman in the state.
