Just in ! Tribunal Judgment: Oyetola’s Supporters Go Underground, As Protest Rocks Osogbo,Ede Over Adeleke’s Removal 

Protesters believed to be supporters and sympathisers of the embattled  Osun State governor Ademola Adeleke have stormed the streets of Osogbo,the state capital and Ede ,country home of the governor in protest against the Election Petition Tribunal Judgment which sacked the governor.
They went wild destroying campaign bill boards and posters of the opposition candidates .Some public utilities.were not spared in the rage .
As at the time of the Press, the protesters have barricaded the popular Olaiya junction and Oke Fia thereby  preventing free flow of traffic.

The majority judgment, the chairman of the tribunal, Justice Tertsea Kume, said the election was marred by over-voting.

He thereafter  deducted the number of over-voting presented by Oyetola and APC.

He said having deducted the over-voting figure, Oyetola scored 314,921, while Ademola polled 290,266 votes.

Adeleke,who was sworn in as governor of Osun State on November 27 ,2022 was sack on January 27,2023
