Koseleri Mourns ,As  Ajimobi First Child ,Bisola Kola-Daisi Dies At 44

 

Former Local Government Chairmen  in Oyo State  has commiserated  with the family of  the former governor of Oyo State,Late Abiola Ajimobi over denise of his first child ,Bisola Kola-Daisi(nee Ajimobi).

The news of her demise,which  came early Thursday morning, March 27, 2025,said  Bisola succumbed to death during  a brief illness while in the United Kingdom.Bisola Kola-Daisi died at the age 44.

Acting under the aegis of “Koseleri” group , the former council chairmen ,in a statement  by its coordinator, Alhaji  Yekeen POPOOLA  described the demise of the late governor’s daughter as a  great loss not only to her immediate family but to Oyo State as whole .

The statement reads ” We received with heavy hearts ,the sudden demise of Bisola Kola-Daisi ,the first child of our late principal and two term governor of Oyo State ,late Abiola Ajimobi.We want to use this Avenue to pray for the repose of the soul of the deceased.We are also praying to God to give the family the fortitude  to bear this huge and irreparable loss

Late Bisola, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s luxury retail scene and a dedicated philanthropist, was not just known for her family legacy but also for her significant contributions to the business world. As the Managing Director of Grandex Nigeria Ltd., a leading FMCG retail and wholesale chain established in 1984, and the founder of the prestigious Florence H. Luxury boutique, she carved out a name for herself in an industry often dominated by men.

Married to the well-respected Ibadan-born politician and bank executive Kolapo Kola-Daisi, Bisola was a devoted mother to three children. Her husband took to social media to express his devastation, stating, “The world has lost a shining star. Bisola was not just my wife; she was my partner in everything. Her spirit will live on in our children.”

She served as a special adviser to Atiku Bagudu, Nigeria’s Minister of Budget and Planning, showcasing her commitment to public service and economic development.
