The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has hailed the Federal High Court, Kaduna, for granting bail to the former governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai on Tuesday, 14th April, 2026 (https://dailypost.ng/2026/04/14/court-grants-bail-to-el-rufai/).
The former governor has been in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Related Offences Commission (ICPC) for weeks.
Commenting on the development, the Executive Director of the human rights organization said, “It is long overdue, belated but we welcome Mallam El-Rufai with both arms. It is hoped that he will be allowed to attend to his family this time around. El-Rufai is a household name and a performer. We love him for who he is: a fearless, selfless leader.”
