The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of new year 2024.
The Zonal Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Sanya Atofarati in his goodwill message to Nigerians, particularly, party supporters in tbe region commended the Nigerian people for their commitment towards a united nation despite the hash economy under the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC).
The party promised to, onbehaf of Nigerians ,continue to champion the cause of true democracy and good governance.
” We give gratitude to God Almighty for sparing our lives to witness the new year 2024. We emphasized with fellow compatriots over needless economic hardships imposed on them by the APC .As a party ,we shall not be cowed or silenced in the face of the current misgovernance .
” We are resolute about our determination to reclaim the SouthWest and we are going to start with Ondo State .”
The party specifically appreciated the support of the Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for his support for the PDP in the region .
We are hoping for the PDP take over governance in the Ondo state governorship election later this year.
