Former governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi hosted some foreign resource persons invited for induction retreat of the newly elected Governors.
Among the esteemed guests captured in the pictures were Gov Peter Anyang Nyongo, the Governor of Kisumu County in Kenya, as well as former Governor Terry McCauliffe of Virginia and former Gov Martin O’Malley of Maryland, USA.
Additionally, we were honoured to have Dr Jean Pierre Elong Mbassi, the Secretary General of the United Cities and Local Governments in Africa and Mr Aloise Ager, Adviser to Kisumu Governor, in attendance.
The former governor said ” the evening was filled with engaging conversations and insightful discussions about life in and out of office and how to make sub-national governments work better for the citizens. It was truly a memorable one, where ideas were exchanged, experiences shared, and friendships fostered.”
