Outrage As Kano  Governor Supervises Demolition of Buildings Approved By Ganduje

Few days into his inauguration,Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf has  ordered demolition of buildings earlier approved by his predecessor in office ,Abdullahi  Ganduje.
A three-storey building with over 90 shops on race- course by Filing Sukuwa, Nasarawa GRA, was destroyed at the orders of Governor Yusuf by 2.00am on Saturday.
Recall that as Governor-elect, Yusuf began churning out directives, part of which was a “threat” to demolish commercial shops and other buildings constructed within government-owned property or public areas.
Governor ABBA Yusuf personally supervised the demolition of a number of Houses tagged as illegal structures across the state capital.
This could probably verge continuation  of the fight between former governor Ganduje and his erstwhile political god father ,Rabiu Kwankwaso ,whose new political godson is the current governor of the state .

Governor Yusuf who personally led the demolition exercise was accompanied by the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Muhammed Gumel.

A source close to Government House, told our correspondent that many buildings within the Kano metropolis, approved by the immediate-past administration, have been marked for demolition.
