Aggressions and oppressions of Israelis since her usurpation of Palestinian land in 1948 could no longer be tolerated, this is an aggression that could not be abated even by the UN. This became more manifested when various UN resolutions were serially violated and dislodged to the extent that the Palestinians are treated not only as less human with inferior rights rather, animal’s rights are more recognized and honored than that of Palestinians by the Israelis.
The fact is, repelling Israel, who enjoys a certain percentage of US annual tax payment, is like repelling US, her allies and even much more. 44 different resolutions against Israel had been violated without any consequences as meted on Saddam Hussien and Muammar Ghadafi in fact, the combined UN resolutions violated by the duo of Sadam Hussein of Iraq and Ghadafi of Libya are not up to the half of the UN resolutions violated by Israel and while the duo paid with their dear life, Israel pays with further impunity hence, UN before Israel is nothing but a paper tiger!
The degree of US loyalty and her allies to the Israelis is akin to that of an umbilical cord relation of which if cut off, one at least if not both would seize to exist! As Israelis’ allies are palpating for economic survival; the EU got engulfed in Russian/Ukraine war, the BRICS currency attack launched to humble the US dollars dominance in the world market we may say, the time is right to humiliate Israel usurpation of Palestinians land.
The preoccupation of US and her allies to counter their own challenges on the proxy war attack launched against Russia may be inundating and overwhelming to give adequate attention to currently support Israel against Palestine hence, an hindrance on their unrestricted solidarity for Israelis aggression on Palestinians. Kudos to the Palestinians for taking the ball by the horn!
Otherwise, the million question, would the Palestinians equally enjoin similar solidarity and support the world extended to Ukrainians against the Russians? If ‘YES’ for the Ukrainians should it be ‘NO’ to the Palestinians? It shows, what is good for the goose is not for the gander! Is it because Palestine is not in Europe or are largely Muslims and Arabs but not White or has the white supremacy extended also to the Arabs? When would a similar gesture be extended and such humanity replicated to the Palestinians?? Palestinian Centre for Human Rights states, before this recent onslaught 146 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces so far in this 2023 while 289 were killed in 2022. These are not fowls but fellow human beings!!!
It is important to note that the above numbers are only estimates as it’s difficult to get accurate data on the numbers of the Palestinians killed in the occupied territories. Would it make any sense amidst these realities to be considering the data of the maimed, the raped, the assaulted or the numbers of building demolished? Even Al-Aqsah as sanctuary as it is, has been desecrated not less than 50times. Where is our humanity for crying out loud! The Palestinians have endured an aged long illegality and aggressions characterized with unimaginable atrocities perpetrated since 1948, when would the inhuman treatment of the Palestinians end?
Israel in its recent siege has cut of the source of food, water supply and power to Gaza; the world largest open prison to starve rather exterminate besides their air bombardment of the Gaza strip. When would enough be enough for Israel? If not now then, when? This ongoing incidence further exposes the hypocrisy of the west, they are after selected justice that is not meant for all and if not, their objectivity is hereby put to test to further confirm the hypocrisy or otherwise of the West!
We urge the UN to prevail on US to stop funding terrorism and Israeli’s aggression on Palestinians as such is against her acclaimed vanguard of Human Rights and Democracy, the US should know, the world keeps paying more attention..
