Police have arrested a Bayelsa boy for allegedly killing his 22 year old lover in Ogobiri Community, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The suspect, Arepamowei Koru, allegedly beat his girlfriend , Miss Toma Angolo, to death
The two lovers were said to be cohabiting in the community before the tragic incident occurred on Tuesday.
Locals said the lovers had been staying together without any noticeable quarrel, before their minor disagreement on Tuesday led to a fight.
They were of the opinion that the man might have hit her hard, resulting in her bleeding to death.
It was gathered that Koru was arrested after the deceased’s elder sister, who held the suspect alerted the police at Amassoma Division
Report indicates that the deceased father, Mr ServeGod Angolo, rushed her to the Federal Medical Centre in Yenagoa, but she gave up the ghost, before they could reach the hospital.
Bayelsa state police spokesman , SP Asinim Butswat, confirmed the incident; saying the suspect has been arrested and detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department, for further investigations.
