Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and Patron Tinubu Support Movement ,Mallam Abdulazeez Yinka-Oniyangi has rejoiced with his principal and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was declared Nigeria’s President-elect in the last Saturday’s poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Oniyangi, President / CEO Swift Air Ambulance Services in his congratulatory message , also congratulated Senator Kassim Shettima who also triumphed as the nation’s Vice President-elect .
The APC stalwart who is also a member of the Presidential Campaign Council argued that the electoral process that thrown up Tinubu as Buhari’s successor was credible.
According to him,Nigerian electorates have not gambled with their ballots as Tinubu is prepared to reward them with good and all-inclusive governance.
The aviation expert is the Patron to about 156 Asiwaju Support Groups saluted Tinubu’s interest and priority to integrate and empower the youths .
The convener Oniyangi Support Group equally admonished APC supporters in Kwara State and beyond to sustain the tempo and culture of victory in the March 11,2023 poll.
” I want to use this opportunity to congratulate our principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his runningmate ,Senator Kassim Shettima on their worthy victory at the Presidential poll..It had been long journey and we worked day and night ,and Allah(SWT) justified our victory.
“I equally want to appreciate our supporters,particularly in Kwara State who took me as a father figure to lead the struggle .We look forward to a successful tenure and we also need to assist them in prayers to make it worthwhile.
“However ,I want appeal to other political parties that we are all winners and we must come together to move Nigeria forward. It had been long drawn battle , full intricks, hurdles and surprises .
“Let me appeal to all members of our party and the citizenry to give us their support in the forthcoming Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections by voting for our candidates, most governor Abdulrahman AbdulRasaq.
“Our governor has performed excellently well and we dont have any better alternative for now than to allow him continue with the good job .He is a gender-friendly governor and a performer. The same way we show love to Tinubu ,let’s us come out enmasse to re-elect governor AbdulRasaq for second term.
“In the spirit of sportsmanship, I want to spoeal to the opposition to join the winning team .No election in the world has been perfect ,remember the case of the United States of America (USA).” Oniyangi said .
