Poly Alumni Urge Buhari To Assent HND/BSc Dichotomy Act 

While making the appeal, the Forum of Nigeria Polytechnics Alumni Associations (FONPAA) also called for increased Funding for Nigeria Polytechnics, to further aid their Academics and improve their overall sundry Research works.

Rising from its Executive Committee meeting held in Ado-Ekiti ,the forum noted that President Buhari’s prompt action on the matter pending on his table, would  calm frayed nerves and renew hope of Millions of Nigeria Polytechnic Graduates.

In the communique signed by IBE SUNDAY OBIALO  and GOKE ISHOLA, the Chairman  and the SECRETARY respectively ,the  forum also called for the upgrade of Nigeria Polytechnics to Degree Awarding institutions, for increased Academic prowess, as is the norm in advanced climes.

“We renew our humble call for the establishment of Nigeria Polytechnics Commission, a body which will solely be for the administration of Polytechnics, like NUC,

“We appreciate the progressive and supporting role of the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti Alumni Association in FONPAA; we Felicitate with its first Alumnus Rector, Dr. Hephzibah Dayo Oladebeye for his landmark achievements in office and equally rejoice with and Congratulate his worthy Alumnus Successor, Dr. Temitope John Aláké, wishing him manifold surpassing successes during his tenure.” the  Forum said
