Presidential Election Tribunal : Row As Peter Obi’s Supporters Rough handles  LP Chairman ,Apapa 

The leadership tussle in the Labour Party (LP) took a new dimension  as supporters of its Presidential flagbeaerer, Peter Obi swooped on its National Chairman, Lamidi Apapa after a hot argument in the court .
 Lamidi Apapa had stormed the Presidential Election Petition Court on Wednesday claiming to be the legally recognized leader of the LP
Apapa and the faction of the suspended National Chairman of the party, Mr Julius Abure  had clashed during the court proceeding.
Following  fracas ,the court refused to recognize the two factions laying claims to the party’s national leadership.

In a tweet on its official handle, the of the  faction had  claimed that the Apapa faction was in the court to truncate the court hearing.

The tweet reads, “Rebel former Deputy National Chairman of Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa made true his threat to truncate the Presidential Election Tribunal by attempting to appear as a representative of the @NgLabour at the ongoing hearing but was refused by the Tribunal. He was thoroughly disgraced”.
