Former President Goodluck paid a courtesy visit to governor of Bayelsa State,Douye Diri to congratulate the governor for his re-election.
The governor used the occasion to formally presented the INEC’s Certificate of Return to the former Nigerian Leader .
The governor ,in his remarks said “Our leader and former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, visited me in my residence in Government House, this afternoon to officially congratulate me on our electoral victory for 2nd term.
“Thank you Your Excellency Goodluck Jonathan sir, for your support and commitment towards building a greater Bayelsa State.
“Your humility is exemplary! During the visit, I formally presented my INEC’s Certificate of Return to our leader too.
“We are committed to the service of our people. With God on our side, we will not fail. Thank you for the trust in my Deputy and I, we appreciate you sincerely.” Diri said .
