The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has hinted that its two-day warning strike epukd would begin on tuesday .
The NLC said industrial action would be a complete shutdown of the economy to protest the alleged failure of the federal government to address the challenges facing Nigeria as a result of subsidy removal.
The national president of the NLC, Joe Ajaero disclosed this in a press conference at the Labour House in Abuja on Friday by .
Ajero said , it was the resolution of the National Executive Committee (NEC)’s decision .
If the threat is activated, the Nigerian economy will be brought to its knees since many sectors, such as manufacturing, energy, and transportation, among others,had indicated interest to join the warning strike.
