The Voice of Women Empowerment Foundation, VOW,has announced the opening of nominations for the VOW2026 Awards*, a platform designed to recognize individuals and organizations that are advancing the empowerment of women and families across Nigeria.
According to the foundation, the awards will spotlight both men and women whose work, policies, and initiatives have created tangible impact in communities.
The VOW2026 Awards will honour outstanding contributions across eight categories: These are : Lifetime Achievement,
Woman of the Year, Family-Focused Organisation,and
Government Agency Supporting Women & Families .
Others are : Gender-Balance Empowering Company, Civil Society Organisation Supporting Women & Families ,and
Social Media Innovation
VOW said the categories were designed to capture impact across the public sector, private sector, civil society, media, and grassroots organizations.
The foundation urged the public to nominate deserving individuals and institutions whose work aligns with women and family empowerment.
“The VOW Awards recognise individuals and organisations that empower women & families,” the foundation stated in the announcement.

The nomination deadline is August 31, 2026.
VOW Foundation said details on the award ceremony, selection process, and recipients will be announced after the close of nominations.
