World’s AIDS Day : Ekiti  Seeks  Solidarity For  Victims

The Ekiti State Agencies For Control  of Aids (EKSACA) has advocated for solidarity with victims of HIV/AIDS as a gesture of unison towards giving them hope and better life in the society.
A statement by the Secretary of the Group, Dr Dairo Ojo  in commemoration of 2023 World’s Aids Day .
Themed: “Communities: Leadership to End AIDS by 2030”, he noted that the fight for an AIDS-free world is crucial, hence the need not to retard in the efforts towards securing a future where HIV/AIDS no longer poses threat.
“Since the first World AIDS Day in 1988.we have witnessed remarkable advancements in HV prevention,treatment,care,and support.Together,we have made significant strides towards reducing new infections and extending the lives of those living with HIV.
“On this World AIDS Day, let us recommit ourselves to the vision of an AIDS-free world.Let us stand in solidarity with those affected by HIV/AIDS and work tirelessly to ensure that no one is left behind.
“EkSACA remains steadfast in our dedication to this cause and we call upon each and every one of you to join us in this fight.
“Let us continue our journey towards a future where HIV/AIDS no longer poses a threat to our communities.”
