10  Ekiti Communities Benefit  From Ajibulu’s Palliatives ,Free Medical Outreach ,Others 

-Donates 20 Units Solar Powered Street Lights To Ipao-Ekiti

No fewer than 10 communities in Ekiti State were captured in the 2024 edition of the Segun Ajibulu Foundation’ s annual social intervention programme.
The week long events which started with free medical outreach and distribution of palliatives to the widows and the aged in  10  communities was attended by friends and well wishers as well as  some  top government functionaries .
Ajibulu ,a chieftain of All Progressives Congress(APC) is former Ekiti  Senatorial aspirant and one time Commissioner (Pension Commission) in Ekiti.
Speaking during the flag off at Ipao-Ekiti , the founder and multiple Chieftaincy title holder ,Chief Segun Ajibulu expressed gratitude to God Almighty for sustaining the foundation for 33 years .
Ajibulu  disclosed that the foundation was established some 33 years ago, shortly after the demise of his father.
According to him ,what started like little intervention to the people of his immediate community had grown  into bigger  programme, where hundreds of people from different communities now enjoy.
Specifically, Ajibulu said about 1500 widows and  aged benefitted from the food  items and cash gifts during the flag off, he  also added that hundreds  benefitted in 10 neighbouring communities of  Ipao Oke ako, Irele, Ajowa, Odo oro, Ikole, Ijesa isu, itapaji, Iyemero, and Ayebode.
He promised to rev up the intervention to capture more  communities  in  the old Ikole Local Government.
Other highlights of the Segun Ajibulu  Christmas activities  included the commissioning of the 20 Units Solar Powered Street Lights ,  children’s funfair and Christmas Boys Party .The children were excited as they were given free clothing  and other gifts .
” This programme is my own little way of giving back to the society .I started this 33 years ago ,when my father died. And to God be glory ,I have been sustaining it since then. My prayer is that God should give me the grace and resources to be able to do more  in  the coming years. ” Ajibulu said .
In his remarks, the speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly ,Rt Hon  Adeoye Aribasoye described Ajibulu as a honest and committed philanthropist who love his people genuinely.
He said Ajibulu remains one of the strong pillars of the APC, not only in Ekiti but SouthWest and Nigeria.
In his goodwill message, the Chairman of the Ajoni Local Council Development Area(LCDAl  Prince Michael Ogungbem also commended the efforts of Chief Ajibulu in lifting  the poor and the vulnerables .
” Chief Ajibulu is a wonderful leader and he has been doing a lot in supporting his community and the people of this Local Government .For somebody who  is not holding any political office to be doing this for over 33 years ,this  is mind blowing.  Ajibulu is no doubt,  assisting Mr Governor in the areas of community development of initiative and I think this must be commended “.Ogungbemi  said .
The event was graced by some traditional rulers of Ipao-Ekiti,Itapaji ,Eyemoro among others.
Ikotun Alex Olakekan,the Director General of the Foundation  explained that the organisers decided to spread the activities inorder to control crowd.
He said the  Foundation  through the benevolence of the founder is ensuring that the number of beneficiaries keep increasing at each  edition .
” It has been challenging event ,humanity is very powerful and capable of taken a lot from anybody a well as given a lot in return .we give glory to God for  the life of Chief Ajibulu .Its not easy anybody who is not holding political office to be doing this for over 33 years ” he said .
