Ex Female Students’ Union Leader Picks As Oyebanji’s Special Assistant 

The immediate past national president of the National Female Students Association of Nigeria, (NFSAN) Modupe Mary Adetiba  has been named  Senior Special Assistant on student affairs to governor  Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State .
The appointment was contained in a list of 162 new appointees  released by the governor’s Special adviser  on media Yinka Oyebode.
Modupe Adetiba is a development practitioner with an extensive work trajectory in youth and gender development. She has over two decades of experience in community leadership and service, contributing to the advancement of youth-driven initiatives in Nigeria and beyond, with a proven track record of identifying and resolving complex social issues, designing and executing projects, and demonstrating leadership.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Ekiti State University and a Master’s degree in Conflict, Security, and Development(in view) from the Nigerian Defence Academy, focusing on conflict resolution, national development, peacekeeping, and governance.
As a gender advocate, passionate about driving positive change through effective leadership, she served as the immediate National President of the National Female Students Association of Nigeria,  where she led impactful campaigns against gender-based violence, and established mentorship platforms for female student leaders empowering and strengthening their agencies.
Her contributions in various roles informed her appointment in February 2022 as a Board Member of the Nigeria Youth Future Funds (NYFF), a Six-million-dollar project initiated by LEAP Africa and supported by the MacArthur  Ford Foundations and Luminate; this project aims to bolster the Nigerian youth ecosystem by focusing on outcome-driven engagement in leadership, activism, and social change with inclusive resourcing to catalyze youth-led interventions.
Modupe Adetiba is not only passionate about youth and gender development but she is committed to driving sustainable youth focus and inclusive initiatives in local and international space.
Mary Adetiba promised to use her new office for the advancement of humanity and contribute her quota to the development of Ekiti state.
