Second Term : Ajibulu Congratulates Oyebanji, Afuye , Urges Focus On Inner Roads, Electricity, Okada Menace

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Chief Segun Ajibulu, has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his deputy, Mrs Monisade Afuye, on their second term inauguration.

Ajibulu, a former senatorial aspirant, in a congratulatory message, urged the governor to continue to do that which is good and consolidate on the gains of his first term.

He called on the governor to address the menace of commercial motorcyclists, popularly known as Okada riders, to curb the frequent accidents on roads across the state.

The APC chieftain also urged the administration give priority to township roads and the challenges of electricity supply, which he said affect the welfare of residents.

Ajibulu further advised Governor Oyebanji to be mindful of the activities of the sycophants, noting that many would show up during the second term ,stressing that many of them have nothing meaningful to contribute to the system.

The statement reads :

” Let me use this opportunity to congratulate Mr Governor ,Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) ,and his deputy ,Mrs Monisade Afuye, on the successful completion of their first four years in office ,and second term inauguration .I wish them best of luck .I also wish them God’s wisdom ,but they should continue to do that which is good.

“More importantly ,I want the governor to focus attention on inner and township roads which are in bad shape .Also access roads to leading our farms and farmstead.

” Another area which I want the governor to pay attention to ,is the menace of Okada riders .We are losing lives due to their reckless attitudes .I think the government need to engage them and tutor them on how to navigate our highways .

” The governor must also beware of sycophants .We would have a lot them this time around who may want to curry his favour ,without necessarily having something tangible to contribute to the system .I wish the governor and his deputy good luck as they commence another four years journey

He urged the governor to be guided and led by the spirit of God, and to prioritize the welfare of the citizenry in his second term in office.
