The proposed 7th Edition of Hike Ekiti Mountain Safari has received huge endorsements from the critical stakeholders in Efon-Kingdom.
Top among them was the endorsement from the Alaaye of Efon-Kingdom His Royal Majesty, Oba Adesanya Aladejare.Others were the Chairmen of Efon Alaaye Local Government and the Efon Alaaye Development League.
These endorsements ,according to the organisers further solidify the importance of the Mountsin Safari in advancing eco-tourism and adventure tourism in Ekiti State.

They said the support also signposted the commitment of Governor Biodun Oyebanji to positioning tourism as a key economic driver in the state.

However the organisers have conducted of the Mountain of Clouds: The Director General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, Ambassador Wale Ojo Lanre, led a delegation comprising Discover Ekiti Tourism Club members and key stakeholders from Efon Alaaye on a pre-tour assessment of the Mountain of Clouds.
This tour aimed to evaluate the route, fine-tune logistics, and ensure an unforgettable experience for participants. Following the pre-tour, Discover Ekiti Tourism Club, through its First Female President, Opeyemi Agbaje Adebayo, issued a statement acknowledging Governor Oyebanji’s visionary leadership and Ambassador Wale Ojo Lanre’s dedicated efforts in advancing adventure tourism.
“Your commitment to showcasing Ekiti’s rich tourism potential is truly inspiring. The strategic push to position Efon Ekiti and the Mountain of Clouds as a leading adventure tourism destination is highly commendable,” the statement read.

The Discover Ekiti Tourism Club, founded in 2018 by Michael Peculiar Ekiran who currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor on Tourism Development, has been instrumental in promoting eco-tourism, documenting natural attractions, and showcasing Ekiti’s cultural heritage. The club remains committed to fostering sustainable tourism growth through strategic collaborations with government agencies and local communities.
