The Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), Ekiti State Chapter, under the leadership of QS Dr. Olubunmi C. Ade-Ojo, is set to host its prestigious Distinguished Guest Lecture (DGL) for the year 2026 on Wednesday, 15th April, 2026.
The event themed: “Public Private Partnership for Sustainable Infrastructure Development – The Stakeholders’ Engagement” is scheduled to hold from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m at BJC Event Center, Afe Babalola Way, Ado-Ekiti.
The event is set to feature a lineup of prominent figures from both the academic and industrial spheres including legal luminary and founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Aare Afe Babalola and QS Kayode Adeosun of Ticktos Nigeria Ltd, Abuja.
The focal point of the lecture will be delivered by the esteemed Lecturer, Engr. Dr. C.C. Katchy, who serves as the President of the PPP Practitioners Association of Nigeria.
To further enrich the discourse on stakeholder engagement, the chapter will convene a panel of experts with diverse backgrounds including Lanre S. Balogun, General Manager of Glocient Hospitality, managers of the famed Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort; Pst. James B. Folorunsho, Director General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Public Procurement (EKBPP) and Dr. Feyi Leo-Olagbaye FNIQS, Head of Department, Quantity Surveying Department, University of Ibadan.
