A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC),Captain Sunday Adebomi (retd) has hailed the new set of appointments rolled out by governor,Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
Adebomi in a statement made available to newsmen in Ise-Ekiti described the governor’s action as a not only representative of the various segments of society but picking the right individuals for the right positions .
Recall that governor Oyebanji ,on Tuesday announced over 162 new appointments, including 79 Senior Special Assistants, SSAs, 73 Special Assistants, SAs and 10 Technical Advisors, TAs.
A statement signed by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, the new appointment which will take effect from January 1, 2024 is the first of the two batches to be rolled out.
The former Governorship aspirant and ex chairman of the Ekiti State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) therefore charged the new appointees to justify the confidence repose in them by discharging their duties diligently and with fear of God.
The APC chieftain said the appointments was a testimony to the governor’s desire to bring governance closer the people.
Adebomi also admonished those who have not been captured in the latest appointments to remain loyal and committed to the party’s ideals of service and good governance.
” I want to use this medium to appreciate our governor for taking another nold and courageous step by appointing more capable hands into his administration. While congratulating those who made the list, I want to urge the new Appointees to be committed and dedicated in their new callings.
