Oba Alabi in his condolence message also commiserated with the fans of the music legend all over the world urging them to take heart.
High Chief Ajibade Olubunmi,the Media Adviser to Alawe in a statement said Oba Alabi noted that the music giant used his God given talent to join other talented Ilawe indigenes in putting his home town in the global limelight.
“Femi Ariyo cannot be forgotten in a hurry, the way he spread his Ekiti music particularly in Ilawe dialect, like a hurricane throughout the world. He bestrode the Ekiti traditional musical world for decades like a colossus and got recognition and won several laurels all over. We regard him as good ambassador of Ilawe who did not disappoint the town in his chosen profession “,Oba Alabi stressed.
