Asari Dokubo Appointed Leader of Muslims in South East, South South

 

 

Alhaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo has been appointed as the President-General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (Ameer Muminin) for the South East and South South regions. The announcement was made during a visit by Islamic leaders to his palace in Rivers State.
Described as a committed Muslim since the 1980s, Dokubo pledged to focus on economic empowerment for Muslims. He also called for prayers for President Tinubu’s administration and Nigeria’s unity.
