Latest report suggesting that renowned Professor and Leader Of Yoruba Nation Agitation, Prof Akintoye may have endorsed the presidential aspiration of the All Progressives Congress(APC) candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT).
Akintoye who is also global leader of the Ilana Omo Oodua, the apex body for Yoruba Nation Agitation, was recently quoted to have opposed the view of Afenifere leader Pa Ayo Adebanjo on the 2023 Presidency .
Pa Adebanjo had advocated for a SouthEast Presidency urging the SouthWest to queue behind the Labour Party(LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi

It was also learnt that Akintoye had set up a committee to advance the course of Tinubu’s Presidency. ahead of the 2023 General Election
The Committee, tagged Elite Mobilisation Initiative (EMI), is headed by an Ado-Ekiti based popular Medical Doctor, Adebayo Orire.
