Kidnappings: Ekiti Deploys Joint Local Security Force To Black Spots 

Worried by incessant incidences of banditry and kidnappings Ekiti State ,a Local Security Network has been deployed to the trouble spots in the state.

About 15 black spots have been identified in the state where cases of kidnappings are being frequently  reported.
The special force is drawn from hunters, Oodua People’s Congress OPC and Vigilante Group of Nigeria code named operation EBBORAC,
They would henceforth secure the porous  borders areas in the State with Kogi and Kwara State
In his remark, the Chairman Of Ajoni local council, Prince Micheal Ogungbemi while addressing 63 newly recruited personnel  said the intervention was to compliment the efforts of the Police in minimizing the nefarious activities .
The Ekiti State Commandant of Rapid Response Squad, RRS CSP Marcus Ogundola who conducted the session on combat and intelligence gathering said the initiative would further improve security and ensure effective policing.

Also the Divisional Police Officer, Ikole Division, Mr Kain tasked the local security men to be professional and thorough in their operations to check activities of bandits in the areas.
