The Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Solihu has passed away. He died a few hours ago in an unnamed hospital in Abuja after a brief Illness.
The news of his death was confirmed by one of his close aides, Muhammad Jumah Dasuki. Further details surrounding his passing are yet to be officially released.
