Customer Service Week: FRSC Ekiti Partners ABUAD Hospital, NURTW, RTEAN For Free Medical Outreach, Road Shows

 

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Ekiti Sector Command has flagged off the 2026 Customer Service Week celebration with a commitment to go the extra mile in service delivery.

The flag-off ceremony, which was held at the Sector Command headquarters in Ado-Ekiti, is part of the nationwide celebration of the Global Customer Service Week, an annual event dedicated to promoting professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness and customer satisfaction.

In his flag-off address, the Sector Commander, Corps Commander Sanya Adeoye, FCIPurS, MCILT, said this year’s theme, _”THE EXTRA MILE”_ aptly captures the Corps’ unwavering desire to prioritize customer satisfaction and inspire personnel towards the attainment of the vision and mission of the FRSC.

Adeoye noted that road users, transport unions, sister agencies and the general public remain the Corps’ most valued customers, adding that the Command remains committed to serving them with empathy and professionalism.

According to him, activities lined up for the week-long celebration, which runs from Monday, 5th to Friday, 9th October, 2026, include cutting of the Customer Service Week Anniversary Cake, Stakeholders’ Engagement and Interactive Sessions, Media Interactive Programs, Road Shows and Awareness Campaigns, Recognition of Outstanding Partners and Stakeholders, and Community / Free Medical Outreach.

He disclosed that to ensure a successful outing, the Command is partnering with the Afe Babalola Multi-System Hospital, Ado-Ekiti, the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Ekiti State Chapter, and the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Ekiti State Chapter.

The Sector Commander invited all road users and stakeholders in the state to be part of the week-long event.
