“It is my honour to announce our collaboration with UNICEF in the development of Education Sector Plans for eight states across Nigeria.“The states have unique challenges and opportunities in the education sector and through this partnership, we aim to address them comprehensively and strategically.
“The first activity, which is where we are now, encompasses the training of EMIS, education managers of the states on evidence-based, gender transformative, equity and disability-inclusive education.
“Our approach will be holistic, addressing issues such as access to education, reduction of the number of out-of-school children, disability inclusiveness in education, quality of teaching and learning management and efficiency, infrastructure development, teacher training, curriculum enhancement and stakeholders’ engagement and funding,” he stated.
