Former Minister of Mines and Steel Development,Dr Kayode Fayemi paid homage to the new Olubadan of Ibadanland , Oba Rashidi Adeolu Ladoja.
Fayemi said his ascension to the throne marks the dawn of a new, progressive era, and it is my prayer that his reign will be transformational for the people and the city.
“It was an immense pleasure to visit the new Olubadan of Ibadan, His Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, today to pay my respects, having been abroad during his coronation.
“Having been born in Ibadan sixty years ago and still resident in the historic city, I am confident Oba Ladoja exemplifies all that recommends Ibadan to the world. He is principled, fair-minded, firm in character, humble, entrepreneurial, professional, and people-oriented” Fayemi said
