Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC),Captain Sunday Adebomi (retd) has sympathised with the government and the people of Ikere-Ekiti over the unfortunate incident of multiple Bank robbery.
Adebomi,former Chairman, Ekiti State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) in a statement said the attack was not only painful but dastardly and condemnable.
He called on the people of Ikere to team up with government, security agencies and other relevant stakeholders in unraveling the perpetrators of the attacks .
” The Wednesday’s brazen attacks on commercial banks in Ikere-Ekiti by armed bandits is becoming one too many .It is painful that the attacks came at a time when the people are preparing for yuletide.I pray for full recovery of those who sustain injuries in the raid.
” I am using this medium to sympathize with the families of the victims of the attacks. I equally want to enjoin the people of Ikere to be more concern about their security by reporting every strange faces and movements to security agencies .
The APC stalwart equally called on the community to strengthen its local surveillance network to forestall future recurrence.
The ex SEMA Boss advocated the reinforcement of security networks in and around the border town .
