Meet Bello Sambo; Nigeria’s First  PhD Holder In Railway Research

 

Bello Sambo from Katsina State, is a first-class graduate in Electrical Engineering who’s made history as the first Nigerian to earn a PhD in Railway Research in 21st-century Nigeria.

 

His groundbreaking work focuses on making railway systems safer and more efficient, not just in Nigeria but globally. His impact was so significant, the University of Huddersfield couldn’t let him go — he’s now part of their global innovation projects.

 

Bello’s brilliance has earned him both the Queen’s Prize and the Innovation Prize for outstanding contributions to railway research.
