Metcoom Cinemas : Ekiti To Enjoy Full Cinematic Experience Soon – Professor Ojo-Bakare 

Arrangements are in top gear to ensure full takeoff of cinema business in Ekiti State .
The  State Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Professor Rasaki Ojo- Bakare who hinted this said the ministry had concluded deal a world class Cinema Company, Mentcoom Cinemas to commence entertainment  activities in the State.
Speaking with newsmen after inspecting the facilities at the civic centre in Ado-Ekiti  ,Ojo-Rasaki  said the Biodun Abayomi administration  is commitment to creating conductive environment for business to thrive in the State, including the entertainment sector.
The Commissioner  explained that the initiative is part of efforts to reducing  capital flight and  boost the entertainment sector.
Professor  Ojo-Bakare also disclosed that the Chief  Executive Officer (CEO) /Mentcoom Global Investment Ltd and Mentcoom Cinemas,Fatoyinbo Olaniyi Temitope has acquired some facilities at the Obafemi Awolowo Civic Centre, Ado-Ekiti for the  full take off of the entertainment  and relaxation business.
The commissioner noted  that the initiative  would compliment the Sunday -Sunday Show earlier  initiated by the ministry .
He said ” we are here with some  officials of metcoom to conduct a  joint facility tour inorder to ensure that the cinema business takeoff without any  hitch. We trust metcoom cinema .It is a company with a proven track records , we know them .I have acted for metcoom before. We know they have the  capacity to deliver. No doubt, we are going to have the best Cinema culture in Ekiti .
” Cinema is an element of culture, because every form of entertainment  is a cultural practice. As part of the programme of the creative economy stature of the Ministry, a movie too, is an act of creativity and a means of relaxation, leisure in the culture industry .
” What we are telling the people of Ekiti is that, they dont need to travel to other neighbouring  states  any longer to catch fun.We have enough entertainment to keep them here.We want Ekiti money be spent in Ekiti .And this is a good step in the right direction. We are also encouraging other cinema companies  to partner with us .
