News alert :Ekiti Cultural Contigent Receives Warm Reception In Netherlands 

 

The contingent of Ekiti State Performing Arts Company  has arrived  Netherlands.

The team lead and Ekiti State Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Prof Rasaki Ojo Bakare expressed appreciation  to  the Nigerian Ambassador to Nertherlands  Ambassador Eniola Ajayi for facilitating  the cultural exposition tour .

The Africa’s first Professor of dance said the tour was Ambassador Eniola Ajayi’s idea and project and She had made all things available in Netherlands.

He also recalled that Ambassador Ajayi had also, in the past, shown her love for the Nigerian culture and, particularly, her passion for Ekiti State, by inviting the State’s cultural troupe to Hungary in 2019 when she was there as Nigerian Ambassador.

Bakare, who is on is second tenure as Commissioner in Ekiti State, also expressed gratitude to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, whom he described as the “Omoluwabi Governor” for giving support to the vision of Ambassador Ajayi to have Ekiti State performing arts team in Netherlands by providing all that were needed, not only to make the trip, but to make Ekiti State proud during the tour.

He described the Governor and the Ambassador as huge fans of the troupe to whom the members of the troupe would forever be grateful.
