Pantami To Deliver Fountain University’s 2022 Distinguished Lecture Series

The  Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami  is billed to deliver the 2022 edition of the Fountain University’s Distinguished Guest Lecture Series.
Pantami ,the only African Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) according to a  statement  by Taoheed Alimi,,the Information Officer of the University said  will be speaking on the lecture topic entitled “Digital Economy, Digital Youth: The Imperatives of a Sustainable development for the 21st century”.
The lecture which is to be delivered on Wednesday, 7th December 2022 at 10 in the morning will be chaired by the Vice Chancellor of the institution and Chairman of the Senate, Prof. Amidu Olalekan Sanni.
With the maiden edition of the series delivered by Prof. Karin Berber of the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom in 2017, it is one of the flagship programmes of the Prof. Amidu Sanni-led management team.
This edition of the academic event just like others will provide the opportunity for academics, researchers, policymakers, and technocrats to share their perspectives on issues of national and global importance.
Fountain University was granted an operational licence as a Private University on May 17, 2007, by the federal government on the recommendations of the National Universities Commission. Following this achievement, a Fountain University strategic implementation committee was set up to serve as “in loco Council” to actualise the birth of the university
