Tinubu Lacks Power To Stop EFCC Trial Against Anyone – Fayose
Says : Will Go To Court,If The PDP Takes Action Against Him
Former governor of Ekiti State Ayo Fayose has threatened to take the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) to court if the party takes any action against him over his stance on national politics ,particularly power shift to the south .
Featuring on a Live Intervuew on Channels TV ,Lagos ,Fayose alleged that the PDP as a party hzscnkt been fair to him as one of its leaders and notable opposition figures in the country.
Fayose recalled how he literarily became the only opposition figure taking on the administration of the former President Muhammadu Buhari fir eight years.
Speaking on his recent visit to the Presidential Villa, Fayose explained that it had nothing to do with his case with the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) .
The former governor said that President lacked the powers to stop the trial at the anti graft .
” I told Tinubu to give 40 percent of his cabinet members to old guards 30 percent to the youths and another 30percent to the women. If we want to be honest with ourselves ,the future our young ones have been stolen. It is high time we gave them the chance now .”
