The group of former chairmen in Oyo State under the aegis of Team Koseleri has described the the Executive chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service FIRS, Hon Zach Adedeji Adelabu as a trailblazer in the realm of tax policy.
This was said in a congratulations message signed by the chairman of the team Hon Yekeen Popoola, the former ALGON boss, on the occasion of his 47th birthday.
Popoola said reforms brought on the table as the Executive chairman of FIRS have reshaped nation’s economy

He continued that recognising his transformative contributions that have reinvigorated the economy following a tumultuous financial crisis inherited by this government has earned him the face of new Nigeria’s tax titan.
“Zach spearheaded ambitious tax reforms that not only streamlined the tax code but also introduced progressive measures aimed at supporting small businesses and lowering the burden on middle-income earners. His innovative approach has been praised for fostering a more equitable fiscal environment and encouraging growth in previously stagnant sectors” Popoola reiterated.
The Koseleri group further stated that Nigeria’s economy witnessed a remarkable turnaround with the injection of key initiatives which included the implementation of tax incentives for startups, enhanced digital tax compliance measures, and a comprehensive overhaul of tax credit programs that directly benefitted low-income families.
