Supreme Council Hails Oyebanji For Appointment Of More Muslims Into Cabinet 

 

-As  Executive Members Get Second Term Mandate

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Ekiti State Chapter has urged the general public  to attend the first public sitting of the Ekiti State Independent Shari’ah Panel.
The Muslim body, in a statement  made available to journalists said the historic sitting would  come up  on Thursday, the 16th of January, 2025 at the  popular Central Mosque, Ado-Ekiti.
Rising from a monthly  meeting held at the Ansar-u-Deen Central Mosque  Kota-Ekiti, the council expressed appreciation  governor  Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for the appointment of Hon. Tajudeen Akingbolu as the Director General of the Ekiti State Transport Agency.
The communique signed by Alhaji (Dr.) Hameed  Bakare and  Alhaji Muraina  Jegede, the President  and the General Secretary respectively,also  expressed appreciation to the Governor for his constant supports to the Muslims Ummah in Ekiti State.
At the meeting ,the   council approved the report of the Shurah Committee  which recommended  the return of the  current members of the Executive Council  into office for another three (3) years term.
This was  in recognition of their commendable efforts and achievements. The newly appointed Executive Members accepted their nominations and promised to continue to work in accordance with the commandments of the Almighty Allah (SWT) and the teachings of the Holy Prophet
Mohammed (SAW).
The Council prayed to  Allah to grant our brother,Alhaji Fatai Adanlawo,the PRO of Ondo state Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs who returned to his creator on 3rd of January 2025 and buried in his home town Ipogun,Ondo state aljanat firdaus.
Prayers were  also offered  for the success of the new Executives and for the progress of Islam, Ekiti State and Nigeria in general.
