Says : Lagos youths voted blindly

Former governor of Ogun State,Chief Segun Osoba has described the last Saturday’s Presidential poll as the most credible and representative since 1999.
The APC leader also challenged the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) ,Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Labour Party(LP) Peter Obi to tell the world which political party rigged the poll in Delta State .
Festuring on a Television programme on Sunday ,Osoba cautioned the opposition against making inflammatory statement on the outcome of the poll warning that ,”nobody will be provoked into turning the country to chaos
The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) who hinted that, even though, the election thrown up many surprises ,he said the best candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the poll.
He disclosed that seven sitting governors also lost their sensturisl bid across party lines.
Reacting to claims of electoral malfeasance by the two runners up ,Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party ,Chief Osoba maintained that an election where 20 sitting governors lost their base cannot be faulted.
Osoba said Tinubu defied all odds to win substantial votes in the middle belt.
” If Atiku and Obi are claiming that the elections were rigged, they should come out and tell the world which party rigged the election in Delta Stste where LP won .So, I dont believe
It pains me when educated people like me voted against APC in Ikoyi . .Sanwo-Olu has done much to better their lots in Ikoyi .What is their reason for doing that ,I think voting should be based o performance and thst is the standard all over the world .I hope they will redeem their image in the Governorship poll ,or else I will advise governor Sanwo-Olu to abandon Ikoyi.
“Also look what the youths did in Eti Osa ,where the youths voted blindly against APC .Yes ,they say the youths are angry but that should not beclouded their sense of reasoning. How can the youths abandoned Bsnky W and Obankoro who are also,youths and educated and voted for an unknown personality. This is not the way to go .Are they saying Banky W is no longer one of them ?.
” I want to appeal to my Igbo people not to make this election an ethnic thing .No country has ever benefitted from ethnic and religion sentiments . Religion destroyed Northern Island where about 3,500 died. Religion also destroyed Lebanon which used to be the Dubai of the world. Lagos is the most liberal starw in Nigeria.We should not do anything that should upset the existing cordial relationships.Asiwsju has broken the 30 years circle.
Osoba also hopeful that the forthcoming election will be difference, I foresee a situation where the educated ones would reason beyond hatred ,ethnicity or religion .
He described the President elect as an hardworking leader with a large heart.
“Tinubu will be a team playing President. He holding a pan-Nigeria mandate. The unity of the country would ge paramount in his heart. I will expect him to block all leakage.” Osoba said
