Eid-el  Kabir :Ex US Army Chief Urges  Muslims To Pray  For Peace,Tasks Government on  Security 

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti state, Captain Sunday Adebomi, (rtd) has enjoined Muslims to renew their love for peace and  unity of the country.

Adebomi, a retired captain in the United States of America (USA) Military  and chairman, Ekiti State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) while  congratulating Muslim faithful on the celebration of the 2022  Eid – el Kabir tasked them to increase their for the country to over security and economic challenges.

According  to him, the period of Sallah is  a time for both Muslims and Christians to reflect on the life of total obedience, submission and humility displayed by Prophet Mohammed to the instructions of Allah.
The former governorship aspirant   urged them  to promote religious harmony, peaceful coexistence and tolerance which is a core prerequisite for unity and development of our country, Nigeria.
Adebomi, in his Sallah message personally signed and released to newsmen in Ise-Ekiti  said, “I implore all our brothers and sisters of the Islamic faith to reflect on the symbolic lessons of faith and obedience attached to the spiritual doctrination of sacrifice by Prophet Ibrahim many centuries ago and its attendant blessings to mankind, and apply same in their day to day activities and relationship with people”

The APC stalwart in Ekiti also urged Muslims to use the occasion to continue to pray for peace, economic stability and development of Nigeria, imbibe the attitude for praying for all our political leaderships at all levels.

The security expert explained that places such as recreational centres, public places and prayer grounds should be provided with armed security operatives in order to protect lives and property of people and appealed to Nigerians to use the season to pray for restoration of peace and solution to various challenges confronting the country.

He ,therefore appealed to Nigerians to always obey and pray for those in positions of authority in order to have a better nation, and prayed God to grant the people of Ekiti state more years to celebrate in sound health and prosperity, wishing all Nigerians a hitch free celebration.
