The special Fidau prayer for the late father of an Editor with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Mallam AbdulRahman Ishola has been slated for Saturday,January 21,2023.
Late Ishola who died at the age of 95 during a brief illness ,was the father of Mallam Yinusa Ishola of NAN and has since been buried according to the Muslims rights at Olodan Compound, Okelele Area of Ilorin.
In his sermon ,Shiekh AbdulRazak Aduagba in his sermon said death was inevitable admonished Muslims to live to move closer to God .
He charged them to always observe the mandatory five daily prayers and give alms to the needy.
The Imam,thereafter offered special prayer for the deceased, his family and friends as well as Nigeria .
Extolling the virtues of his father, Yinusa who is also the first child of the family described late Ishola as a devoted Muslim, kind hearted and a caring father.
He said that his late father would be greatly missed by the family and friends, particularly for his good deeds.
Among early mourners were , Malam Saadu Salahudeen, Special Assistant on Strategy to the state governor; Alhaji Abdullahi Oleshin, Regional Editor of Leadership Newspaper; and representatives of NAN from Ilorin office.
