Oyo Governor Makinde  Donates Buses To Hausa Community 

The Chief Imam  Sabo Central Mosque, Sabo, Ibadan, Oyo State, Seheedu Abubakar took delivery of the two 18-sester buses donated by governor Seyi Makinde .
The governor  said the gesture  was to promote  religious tolerance, unity, commitment to religious harmonyn and peaceful co-existence .
Represented by the Aare Musulumi of Yoruba land, Edo and Delta, Alhaji Daud Akinola ,the governor  said that we came here to pray and also to donate vehicles to Sabo Central Mosque and Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Darud Da’awah Central Mosque
He said it was inline with Makinde’s  promises to continue to promote religious harmony, peace, love to every indigene and residents of Oyo State, irrespective of the religion they practice and ethnicity.
He said that the new vehicles will support and assist in easy transport of members of the central mosque from one location to another for their jihad and also help in promoting and propagation of Islam in the state.
While presenting the bus to the Chief Imam Sabo Central Mosque, Imam Seheedu Abubakar, the governor’s representative said that Makinde won’t relent in promoting religious harmony, peaceful co-existence among all religion in the state.
The Chief Imam Sabo Central Mosque, Imam Seheedu Abubakar, while receiving the vehicles on behalf of the congregation, appreciated the governor for commitment to religious harmony and for always having the interest of the people at heart.
