It’s discomfiting and mortifying that so many people refuse to heed the admonition to “prove all things and hold fast to that which is true and good”.
I heard someone or some people said “Congressman Bimbo Daramola cares and shares with people for political exigencies and that his concerns for humanity isn’t altruistic rather, for campaign purposes”.
Laughable, isn’t it?
The Ekiti North Federal Constituency [1] House of Representatives, 2023 aspirant is said to be desperate and flaunts his contributions to his Constituency and Constituents to gain popularity.
Like I posited in one forum, these revisionists and traducers would have made little sense were they able to say and proof he lied but so unfortunately, they can’t deny the obviously true, real and visible issues.
The next campaign is about personality and what you bring to the election, talking about character, courage, competence, capacity, capabilities, experience, exposure, antecedents, pedigree et al. Congressman Bimbo Daramola has always aligned with the Biblical demand that “you come with your strong reasons” and he has worked hard to give himself the right to raise, aloft, his modest contributions as precursor to what, by God’s grace, he can do more when re-elected.
…and you see this as cynical? Doesn’t a farmer feeds his family on the fatness of the harvest. If it is cynical, wont every legislator love to be this cynical? This is not to say he’s cynical. But for those who claim it, let them come with their answer(s). He is fruitful enough to earn the plaudits to be cynical. What a blessing!
When a lot of Representatives (MHRs) from other States and many from Ekiti before and after the 7th Assembly when Congressman Bimbo Daramola held sway have no motions nor Bills to their legislative credits yet scored ridiculously low on Constituency Projects ratings but Congressman is robust and cruising, crossing his Ts and dotting the Is as proofs he #canbemore, whoever says it is for campaign purpose should flaunt their own achievements, too…………
… otherwise, they should hold their peace forthwith or they eternally wallow in their hollow baits.
Assuredly, “the righteous and benevolent won’t be recompensed with reproach and will not die in the state of cruelty nor in the place of the wicked”!!!
