Atleast eight people have been confirmed dead in the latest shooting in the United States .
It was learnt that the shooting occurred outside the entrance Methodist North Hospital emergency room, in Memphis, Tennessee
Reports say the police arrived the scene at around 12:47 a.m. on Tuesday, where they onfirmed at least eight people had been shot in the incident, with the ABC24, quoted as saying that a silver sedan had stopped at the median of the intersection Austin Peay and Walter K Singleton parkway, adding that the vehicle had at least 20 bullet holes in its driver’s side.The hospital and the adjacent streets, were believed to be on lockdown, while the status of the shooter remained currently unknown, the report, said,
Meanwhile the Memphis Police also taped off the scene at a gas station several miles away where an assault rifle could be seen on the pavement near the pumps, according to local media WREG.
