Police in Anambra State have launched manhunt for a yet-to-be identified undergraduate who killed his parents .
The suspect believed to be university undergraduate of a university in Anambra State committed the crime in Nnewi, the industrial capital of the state.
The command’s spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), in a statement on Friday said “the Commissioner of Police, CP Echeng Echeng, while describing the discovery of the already decomposing dead bodies in an apartment in Nnewi on 22/9/2022 at about 5:20pm with machete cuts, as act of man’s inhumanity to man.
The stench from the home of the deceased, was said to have triggered the interest of the neighbours, who later gained access into the building to behold the gory sight of the bloated bodies of the victims. The police, are beaming their searchlights on the only son,
“He has ordered immediate manhunt of the suspect.
